If you’ve ever dreamed of befriending a bear (a friendly one), Smoke might be the closest you’ll ever get. This 2-year-old Akita is fluffy, affectionate, and downright cuddly. Staff say he’s basically a life-sized teddy bear with a tail — ready to love you back with everything he’s got.
He’s a clean boy, great with kids and dogs (with proper intros), and he’s happiest getting good scratches and soaking up Wisconsin’s chilly weather. He may need a little patience while settling into a new routine, but honestly…look at that face. Worth it.
