☀️🎉 Good Friday Morning, Coulee!
December 13, 2024

TOGETHER WITH
👋 Friends. It’s Friday.
Get comfortable. We have plenty, today. A segment of #ThatLooksGood from an underrated local gem, a bit of Good News, and more imposition of my musical taste unto you.
Are you ready for this? 1,2,3……scroll 👇
“Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.”

🌯 #ThatLooksGood
If you are reading this to start your morning, you might want to do yourself a favor and make lunch plans with a buddy at Schuby’s Neighborhood Butcher.
Anecdotally—it seems like people still don’t know how amazing this place is and I’m going to help get the word out.
One of the most popular items on their menu is their BLTT. Behold.

BLTT - Schuby’s bacon, house-smoked turkey, lettuce, tomato, basil mayo, saba, seeded roll.
AND—they are always cycling in specials to the menu. So, if you love Schuby’s and haven’t been there in a while—go see what they have!
🔥 INSIDER TIP: On Fridays, Schuby’s also has a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich that will change your life.

🐴🎄🪄 CHRISTMAS MAGIC @ LILY OF THE VALLEY
Yesterday, we highlighted Lily of the Valley for some of the Christmas-themed gifts that they had available. And let me tell you, that link was popular. Today, I’ve discovered something else incredible about this place. They. Have. Sleigh. Rides. Here’s how they describe it on their site:
Enjoy a sleigh ride through the woods with two draft horses guiding the way. We have a trail through the woods to make it a beautiful and magical experience! Snuggle up with a warm blanket, enjoy hot cocoa, s'mores and a bonfire in the woods.
We are excited to offer you and your family a great opportunity to spend time together, enjoy the gorgeous countryside, and start a new tradition.

Actual photo from the sleigh ride
I checked—and they’re booked solid this weekend. Seems like time slots go fast. I’ve done you a real solid and give you a jump on next weekend, though. Honestly can’t believe I haven’t heard of this place before.

🧤 HANDMADE MITTENS FROM CRAFT BARN GALESVILLE
Craft Barn Galesville is offering up these handmade mittens in a variety of styles. They look extremely warm.

🕯 VELVET COUCH CANDLE
The owner of this awesome business has 3k likes on Facebook, so I can’t exactly claim that I’m early to this, but when I saw it come across my feed, I knew within a few moments that I’d discovered an under-appreciated gem.
PLUS—I recently was enlightened by a good friend on the importance of a high-quality candle.

It’s not just the innovative scents, appealing photography, or creative descriptions that accompany them. According to the owner, these candles are:
Hand-poured in small batches
100% soy
Lead-free wicks
Phthalate free fragrance oil

😃☀️ A Bit of Good News
