Today, we are highlighting the work of Coulee Region RSVP. This important local organization not only provides opportunities for individuals 55 and older to get involved in the community, but it leverages the wisdom, experiences, and work ethic of those individuals to bolster causes that need it most in the La Crosse area.

In their own words:

Through collaboration with community nonprofit organizations, we provide meaningful volunteer experiences for individuals age 55 and better in your community. Serving La Crosse and Monroe counties since 1973.

We achieve this mission by identifying community needs, recruiting, and placing volunteers in diverse, intergenerational volunteer opportunities throughout La Crosse and Monroe Counties.

💧 48-Seat Tequila Tasting @ Hatchery Riverside // Tuesday, 6pm

Beer By Bike Brigade and Hatchery Riverside are teaming to provide a handful of limited seating, cozy and casual tasting events.

Snow Ball is a fundraising event benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Gundersen Health System.

Join us for a frosty and fabulous night of hors d'oeuvres from Steak Shop Catering, live music from Ryan Howe, photography from Bailey Nelson, and a raffle with amazing prizes donated from local La Crosse businesses!
Doors open at 6pm at the Court Above Main.
100% of funds raised stay local to benefit local kids and families.

🔴 BookTok Bingo @ 608 Brewing Company // Tuesday, 6:30pm

Join us as we partner with 608 Brewing Company to celebrate all of the best books on BookTok! A free event, with a book prize for every bingo.

🍽 Arterial Wing Night w/ Live Music @ Fork & Fable Crafthouse // Wednesday, 5pm

Our first Arterial Wing Night of 2025 is locked and loaded!

We will be bringing in one of our favorite humans, Mr. Mark Harrison and his wild brands, yes brands with an "s," 3 Floyd's and War Pigs!

Chef has also dreamed up 2 additional wing sauces that will debut on event night to bring the total sauces to 10!

🕺💃 Dance Practice @ Concordia Ballroom // Thursday, 7pm

Dance practice session at the Concordia! Come and practice in a relaxed setting - no pressure, lots of space. No lessons, but help if you need it. Music provided. We're trying Thursday dance practice sessions for the month of January. $5 donation. Please bring separate shoes to maintain a safe and clean dance environment.

🪄 Impossible Show, Magic, & Mindreading @ Le Chateau // Friday, 7pm

During this 60 min show, the magic of Isaiah will predict the future, use psychological tactics to read your mind, use body language to determine if you are lying or telling the truth and demonstrate magic never before seen by the public. Will you be witnessing the possible or the impossible? These are just a few amazing feats of unique entertainment you will witness during the event. This is a very interactive show for teens to adults. The event is at the renowned Le Chateau in La Crosse, WI. Included with your ticket price are appetizers and live music prior to the show. Tickets $27.

Interactive terrarium session where you build, create, and take home a beautiful terrarium!

This workshop is for adults 18+

🧶 “The Art of the Needle” Exhibition @ Marie W. Heider Center for the Arts // Thursday, 6pm

A Public Reception for the Coulee Country Chapter of Embroiderers' Guild of America--a display of intriguing, intricate thread work.

This exhibit, featuring works of 14 different artists/artisans, is on display at the Marie W. Heider Center for the Arts Gallery from January 14th through February 28th.
