☀️💼 Good Thursday Morning, Coulee

January 16, 2025

👋 good gosh darn morning.

It’s a beautiful Thursday morning in the Coulee Region. We have a little bit of warmth on tap headed into the weekend, and that’s plenty to be thankful for.

Once again, welcome to Good Morning, Coulee. I can’t think of anything I’d rather do each morning than introduce you to the new day with positivity in your heart.

Before I get started today—a heartfelt and sincere thank you. The referral program is certified poppin’ lately. You people are sharing Good Morning, Coulee with your friends, colleagues, and community members.

And because of that, we are going to be able to help more of our neighbors spread the word about their missions, services, products, events, and activities. Which is, ya know, kinda what this is all about. So—thank you. ❤️

Alright—are you ready to see what’s up in our sleepy little slice of the Midwest today? Great, let’s do it. 👇

🤝☀️ Help Good Morning, Coulee Grow 📈

If you get value from this newsletter, please consider sharing it with friends, family, business owners, or other community members.

The first milestone in our referral program is a birthday shoutout—pretty sweet, right? Play your cards right and there might be a bumper sticker in it for you somewhere down the line. 😉

📍⭐️ Local Business Highlight

Friends—one of the most important things that this newsletter can do is support local businesses.

Yes, there are lots of options for purchasing your goods and services. But—that special culture that we have in the La Crosse area cannot continue if we do not support the businesses and people that give our community unique experiences and products.

Without our local businesses, there is no #ThatLooksGood, What’s Happenin’, or any of the cool things that we have planned for the future of this newsletter.

I have committed to highlighting one local business per week for free. Yes—if you are reading this and have a small business, I WANT TO FEATURE YOU!

If you would like to be featured, simply fill out this form. Together, we can get the word out. 🤝

ANYWAYS—this week, we are featuring the very first organization to fill out our handy dandy form: The Unladylike Lounge.

In their words, here’s what The Unladylike Lounge does:

The Unladylike Lounge is a women’s empowerment group, born at the height of the global shutdown. The goal was to give women of the coulee region a space to connect, network and feel a sense of belonging that they didn’t get from other women’s or moms groups. In 2022, the podcast was born by happy mistake. Giving voices to up and coming entrepreneurs, Emmy award winners, celebrity brand advisors, television executives, high profile defense attorneys, victims of abuse and addiction, etc, our fans of over 90 countries have found someone or something they can relate to, as apparent by our over 100+ million streams worldwide.

It amazes me the number of small businesses and ventures like this that exist in our community, created by our neighbors. It’s my honor to bring some attention to these things that you, the readers, have worked so hard on.

If you want to learn more about The Unladylike Lounge, check them out here.
